Therefore, I'm gonna have to put in LOADS of time for the last few.

Had my Chinese O's on Monday, English Oral Prelims on Tuesday and O Level F&N Prac on Wednesday. Okay, not that busy, but still. I have the time to actually blog. But there's no content. Anyway, I had the time to repack my Arashi stuffs..

Its not really obvious here, but the number of magazines increased, and I have one more DVD. (Y)! Totally. But anyway, this, clearly isn't everything I have. There are some which I plan to sell away, so they're at another much 'better' place. And I have one uchiwa on my glass cupboard. Yep. Inaccuracy.

Anyway, the mid-years are over. And the results are coming back ever since today. There's gonna be intensive Mother Tongue from next Tuesday onwards. Exciting. I wanna clear this subject in one go, so I'm gonna ask people to help me. Anyway. Had a go at Arashi's 5x10 concert DVD yesterday with 2 other fans - Yeeching and Joanne. Tashryn couldn't make it; she never could anyway. So yep. Here's another photo.

I'm gonna be really busy up till the second week of the June holidays. With O level, extended curriculum and my O level practical exam for F&N. I'm gonna try and update, but it ain't a guarantee. Oh, and I'm also really busy with outside commitments. Like Japanese classes and piano. I've missed 2 Japanese lessons and having only half an hour to make up what I've missed isn't a good idea too. ): So I guess... hiatus? Haha.

GOLD, WITH HONOURS

10 April, I swear it was really one of the best moments of this year. The display bands were really amazing that at one point, I didn't think Bowen could have the chance to clinch a GWH. We screamed and clap our hearts out when the MC said "Band No. 6, Bowen Secondary. Gold..With Honours" It was really a magical moment!! Even with our small band size, I think we've proved "Quality over quantity". The music was definitely better than what you would normally hear at the parade ground, the solo was loud and good and last of all, the colourguards showed good teamwork! Super proud of you guys!

Tanjong Katong - I'm not really sure about the theme, but it seemed to be about festive seasons? There's Chinese music as well as Deck the halls. But then again, there was a Japanese-song-singing session. So I'm not sure because the lyrics of the Japanese song definitely isn't about festivity.

Pingyi - Lovers who got separated by the DM D: The female dancer was amazing la!

West Spring - Probably about majestic birds.

Deyi - Empires? There's Egypt so, successful empires?

Looking forward to Sports Day and Speech Day! Definitely lots of photo-taking sessions with friends!

16

I've always liked taking pictures of plants.

Anyway, what seemed like a time of sufficient sleep seems to be the start of the lack of sleep. Don't get what I mean? I meant that I'll be burning midnight oils from now on. I've yet to complete my coursework which I'm only about 10% near to completion for my Research work (redo-ing it!) and 0% for my Development stage which is one of the hardest components in Coursework Part A. With all this, I personally think that I might be too knowledgeable in food than fellow peers who aren't taking F&N, and even surpassing the normal knowledge of food by adults who aren't working in the F&B sectors.

On top of that, I've yet to finish my F&N homework on food labels, Chinese homework and also my SS. SS could wait as lessons starts on Thursday. Chinese? I don't know. I swear that I've never completed Chinese homework ever since secondary school. It probably one of the causes as to why my Chinese grades are falling from a possible A to a terrifying C.

"Sweet 16" some quote by -I'm sure- a Westerner. It's not that sweet in Singapore. No. Being 16 in Singapore includes studying till you're crazy. A pile of homework to be completed and handed in the very next day. Exams, tests, courseworks, SPA, experiments and tuitions. Being 16 isn't all that glamourous in Singapore.

I'm done ranting. Gonna continue my Research work.

Friends

They've been there for me throughout this four years. Thank you ♥

Okay, I can't go on hiatus. I need to blog. I hate the fact that my legs look thin on the photo but is seriously some pig trotter in real life. Who doesn't hate that.

It's the March holidays, and I've been procrastinating all my homework. Till now, I haven't completed a single thing. It's time I have the urgency to complete my work and do some revision. But I'm still playing, slacking and watching dramas. I need a serious slap on my head to get me going.

I'm going to try and complete Chemistry, Emath, Amath and English tomorrow. I'm only left with about three questions for Emath, so it shouldn't be a problem as long as I don't get distracted. I need a study group!

I've come to realised that I'm quite a loner in class after secondary 2. I've always attribute it to the fact that my closer friends are dispersed into other classes and I'm only left with one girl from my previous class which I wasn't even a metre close to her at all. I don't know, I feel awkward to approach people and talk to them. I'd rather they approach me and talk to me; I feel more at ease. Call me anti-social. I don't care. I'm just not as bonded into this class because I don't have anyone I could open up to. Or even approach to during group work.

Anyway, SYF Band is nearing. Gonna bring along my camera to take some shots for friends in band. I'm so good.

Paprika

A short break from the internet due to the recent common tests which had just ended today. In a sense, this is the first common test where I forgo my sleep to study. Either due to lack of time management to study beforehand, or due to that lack of confidence as to whether I've known the points from the front to the back of the chapter.

I've actually thought of a topic to post about, before the start of the hiatus. However, Social Studies and other content subjects has already caused my brain to be at a dysfunctional state. Oh well. I guess I'll remember the topic someday. I've also been unable to sleep well even though I'm exhausted due to the lack of sleep. Insomnia perhaps?

I'm thinking of bringing a camera wherever I go, but seriously, there aren't really any scenic views around me... I'm thinking of roughly getting the idea put on Word, then I'll add in more detail tomorrow - since everyone's saying that the deadline is on Friday. Take the chance and unwind. I've been spending too much time on F&N. It doesn't deserve it.

Anyway, CNY is coming. I'm still thinking I lack some new clothings like tees. I'm thinking of getting a pair of rubi's shoes too :D A black one. Anyway, on hiatus till 25 February. Jiayan has been like some good friend to me ever since I entered secondary 3. The guy checked and said that I've only used W595 for ten months and thirty days, and says that I'd have to pay a total of $250 in order to exchange for a new phone; unless I wait for another ten more months so that I'll be able to exchange for free.

Now, first things first: When I first got W595, the sales person in Bugis says that I can exchange for a new phone after nine months. He did not mention anything about having to pay extra if I were to exchange early. This is by far the worse service I've ever had. The sales person did not even have the initiative to mention that we'd have to pay extra if we wanted to change the phones before twenty months.

And not to forget, it always states "for free with Take3 plan". I think there's some misunderstanding for the word "free". Their definition of free seems to mean after twenty months. Reached there, and we saw 'thousands' of fans gathering in that small, narrow corridor. Confirmed our registration code, and one of the crew members passed us our goodie bags. Here's what I've got:

A badge and a shop photo from Crazy Moon PV making. Actually I had "Ohmiya SK" foe my badge, but a fellow Ohno fangirl traded with me, so there, Aiba's solo. Don't really like the extra hand in the photo, and I was really hoping for a 5x10 one. Oh well..

Anyway, we adjourned into the screening room and Jannah and I got first row seats, which ain't the best. Anyway, Emcees were Liting and ( )*. Started the screening, and we were practically singing along to the songs. When it reached Oh Yeah!, everyone got out of their seats and went to the back and jumped along to the beat. Everyone rapped parts they are able to, and danced the furi!!

Then there was the intermission with Bingo and The Quiz Show. Almost got the shop photos, but I forgot how to sing 5x10!! Then there was The Quiz Show. It was really fail for Jannah la, she's so lag in Arashi because she jumps fandom every one to two months. I loved the prizes for the third and fourth placing; shop photos!! I want!

Kinda fail because I cut out one of the contestants. There's Charmain beside Jannah. I love her to bits la! Very enthusiastic!! But they kinda fail also; Never watch DnA, how can!?

Back to the screening. Everyone was back in their seats and singing along. I loved it when EVERYONE was singing to A.RA.SHI. The unison! I swear, we were louder than the video itself. Moving on to the encore, we sang during wish, and laughed at Gori Muchuu. Then we had a lucky draw, with photobooks, uchiwa, concert files and more shop photos. Fail, didn't win anything. Took a group photo and sang a birthday song for Sho. Ended with lots of photo-taking with anyone I could grab on to.

Fiona! She was beside Jannah during the screening. I just HAD to take a photo with her! She was one of the more enthusiastic ones in the first row.

Li Ting! Omg, finally we took a photo together! Hopefully we can take more photos if there are more gatherings 8D

Nino fan! The photo-taking part was really weird. "Which member do you like?" "Nino." "Nino ah? ):" "Yeah." "Aiya never mind! Take photo with me!" Awesome!

This was cute too. I was talking to the girl clad in black. "Who you like?" "Aiba!" "Aiba!? I also!" *Starts flailing* Sadly, I don't know who her friend likes. I'm guessing.. Nino? I don't know, forgot to ask ):

Then we had to go out by 6.30pm. So I was looking for the girl who was standing beside me during the group photo because she held a Sho uchiwa!

"Excuse meeeee!!! Can take a picture?" *passes me the Sho uchiwa* "Nooo! We take together!" Hahha. She's pretty la! Actually, all of them are :D

Wrote messages to Keikarou in hopes that Aiba would see it. Took photos with some of the crew members because they happened to be Aiba fans and Jannah and I when looking for the black and white statues of Raffles.

Then, I told Jannah how I'm so desperate to go to the merlion, so we went there!

I just had to imitate Aiba when he was here.. Jannah's was fail because she couldn't match the water spraying out. So in the end, she had to squat in order to take the photo. But it still didn't match -.-

Anyway, more photos of Jannah and I. I'm calling Tashryn next time! Stupid Jannah, she doesn't know the songs from the albums -.- SUPER FAIL.

Yama x Kaze

Pardon the fail picture -.-

Anyway, had loads of fun during the Arashi screening. And, of course, Joe Hisaishi's accompaniment to those films.

Never could have believed that My Neighbour Totoro has been living ever since 1988. I find it amazing how Japanese kids borned in the 2000s would actually know about it. No sudden earthquakes (mind you, Japan has an earthquake like every five minutes or something. But no one feels it, because it's a minor one). The first week of school has ended, and I think it's gonna be quite smooth throughout. Well, except for the separation of classes and not getting teachers I want. I think other than that, it's gonna be okay. I've gotta really work hard this year!

Oh, and on the other hand. I'm gonna be more enthusiastic in terms of school activities. It is of course, the last year in school. Gonna create some awesome memories and take loads of pictures during those events.

Yesterday was the CCA Carnival. Fun, but not as great as 2009. 2009 was full of fighting with BB and Band. This year's was like "Hey, join band!" "Sorry, I sec 4." Boring. But anyway. I think Brandon is cute. Gonna have to think of some and stick to it!
·Maintain a clean room, for good study environment.
·Save up money for a webcam.
·Use the computer on Saturdays ONLY.
·Be more sociable.
·Do up a board of motivational messages by 25th January.
·Clean up my room by tomorrow (it's January already okay!)
·Work hard in Upper Intermediate.
·Stop staring at people.
·Splurge less on magazines.
·Stop going high at every Japanese song played around Singapore.
·Study real hard during the weekdays.
·Get my tempo in piano right (doubt it would)
·Flail more.

Yeaaaaaaaah, that's all.

About the splurging...well....

I'm definitely gonna control my splurging moments! Another act surfaces.

Mother arrested for selling daughter for sexual services

A girl going through puberty no less! What is wrong with mothers in Japan? They think their daughter is a piece of pork and they sell them to yet again male paedophiles! If you hate your life so much, sell yourself, not your daughter. What if she contracted AIDS or other STDs? Are YOU going to pay for it?

I don't think the girl would ever lead a normal life; with the fear of sex and all, and thinking she's all dirty (got it from dramas la). She's gonna be so traumatised her whole life and her bright future would be ruined. All because of her money-loving mother.

Since I'm on this topic, let's jump to the groping white-collar perverts lurking around in packed trains and buses. They're absolutely disgusting! They grope (i think) highschool girls who have to commute on these packed public transports every single school day of their life (unless their parents have enough time to drive them to school, not. workaholic country!). And in my opinion it seriously depends on their luck whether they meet a H ojisan or a nice ojisan.

Child pornography?

For those whom I've not exclaimed anger randomly on MSN, I'm gonna post the frustration here.

Mothers selling pornographic images of their own child

You've got to read it.

Anyone who gets sexually aroused by images of kids wearing their underwear must be a paedophile, and apparently it reports that those are male paedophiles. It's even worser when those images weren't taken by said paedophiles, but the kids own parents, mother and/or relatives. And to think, mothers were this figure whom people look up to. Even dictionaries believe that mothers are awesome. Look after (someone) kindly and protectively, sometimes excessively so Er, taking images of child nude/with undergarments is protective? Whoever thinks that is protective, please jump off a bridge.

A 1000yen (SGD$15) per picture. That Osaka woman received 100,000yen for the pictures she sent. That's like approximately a hundred images sent to a porn collector. Seriously, is a hundred images of her own nude daughter worth only 100,000yen? Oh, let's not forget, there's videos of her nude daughter. Either that woman is really in need of money, or, is desperate to show her child's body to the world (I mean like who knows what that collector would do). I don't care if what that mother would end up to, but let's think in the eyes of her daughter. Two years old, you'd practically talk a few words, and probably understand what adults say. But if we look on the (not so)bright side, two years old, she'd practically forget what she had ever taken once she's all grown up. THEN AGAIN, if said porn collector posted the pictures on the net, and if one way or another the girl sees childhood photos of herself, naked, on the net. Her future's ruined and be damned.

It pisses me off that some 23 year old mother gets only one year jail term for doing such a thing? With all due respect to that Sendai judge because he said something good, As a mother, you committed a deed as grievous as sexual abuse against your own child, whom you are bound to protect with your very life isn't a one year jail term a light offence? If a monk gets more than a year of jail term for using funds from public for his own use, why isn't a mother who "sexually abused" her own child getting the same amount of punishment? Fine, laws of different countries. But isn't sexual abusing something much more than embezzling of funds?

We were able to make easy money Yeah, in the expense of your own child's future. As much as I love Japanese, I think it's time for Hatoyama to step in or something.

Down Ueno Park

Sometimes I wish Singapore has parks like this ): Okay, fine. Baby's skin is wrinkle free, and blablabla. It also repels water!

Musashi-sensei, she's 52 years old and she's researching on skin types (I think).

You know how the Japanese are always awesome, so let's just believe her.

5 things you must never do when washing your face
· Never wash your face with hot water! It drys out your skin.
» Use water no warmer than your own body temperature.
» Use water as cold as you can stand it, when you finish.
· Applying ice directly to your face is also bad. Who does that anyway.
· Never wash your face roughly. After you turn 50, it will give you wrinkles, bags under your eyes and deep lines at the corners of your nose. There are also areas where the force of your hands will harm the skin
· Never leave facial lotion longer than necessary! It'll dry the skin even more. To think lotions are good for us
· Never wash with cleansers in the morning!

Techniques by Musashi-sensei
1.
» (In case you can't see because of bad quality) Lather using a sponge or facial net because it's faster.

2.

3.
» Using the tip of your ring finger, move the foam in circles no bigger than 1cm. The way you're pushing the foam from your hands, allows your skin to be more flexible

4.

5.
»Take your time to wash your face! Rushing will only give you wrinkles!

Other tips
· Rubbing your eyes too much will cause the blood vessels around the eyes to be damaged. Therefore, you'll have dark circles due to poor blood circulation.
· Too much salon treatments and supplements may cause your skin to dry.
· Soap residue on your skin will cause the area to be predisposed to acne and blemishes.

I'm so gonna try it!
Credits: TBS directors.

Fixations

1. Hands.
